Spotlight Theatre School is Shanghai’s premier Performing Arts training studio for children and young adults ages 2-18 years.

Our mission is to provide a platform to nurture creativity, enrich imagination and to equip young people with communication skills that will be used in later life. We will achieve this through carefully tailored courses run by expert coaches who have vocational training as well as professional performance experience. 

Our courses aim to:

We offer students the opportunity to work with experienced performing arts coaches from the United Kingdom. We specialise in acting, communication skills, vocal coaching, musical theatre, LAMDA examination preparation and more.  Our industry experts are committed and passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with the students as they create workshops that are truly unique. 

Our courses have an academic focus and entail fun theatre games, exercises, song and movement. They encourage self-directed learning, balanced with group-based activities. The students will discover and learn the key components of a performer’s training, meet new friends and develop their imagination.  Our classes promote spontaneity, self-expression and always focus on the ability to work as a team.
